I keep on talking about his work or referring to his style but I actually never wrote a line about Ryan McGinness. I first heard about him a few years ago now when I was still at Uni. My design teacher recommended me to have a look at his artwork as it was similar in essence to the subject I was talking about in my dissertation at the time. Anyway, Ryan McGinness designs are stunning, colourful, huge, impressive. He was exhibiting in the Baltic a couple of years ago as part of Spank the Monkey which was held all around the streets, metro stops and art galleries of Newcastle – Gateshead. What I appreciate the most is the fact that a large proportion of his artwork is painted but it all look likes vector digital art as all the lines are so perfect and crisp. Also, some artworks are just gigantic like the ones in the picture at the top (around 3.6m x 2.4m each)…
